I been playing Pokemon Red for the first time (Always Blue/Leafgreen guy) and I've been really enjoying building a team of exclusive 'Mons.

Just finished grinding the Game Corner for an early Scyther. Gonna keep Gloom until lvl 37 pedal dance then evolve and gonna evolve for Vaporeon until I catch the 6th exclusive Pokemon Electabuzz at the Power Plant.

Theyre replacement clear buttons on an aftermarket Rayquaza gameboy shell with an upgraded screen 7 level brightness and 7 color settings [currently using black and white for night play] The only original part is the motherboard itself. I was gonna finish the build with glow in the dark rubber contact pads under the clear buttons for a green/glowing/emerald like aesthetic.

Upgraded screen kit* which you can find online Funnyplaying makes one but I've preferred the other brand with touch sensors which are so much easier to install. I can send you a link to the stuff I bought if you're interested.

Sweet, those micro gameboys are pretty expensive huh? I never liked them much myself, I would actually wanna do one of those DS Lite conversions like this.

those have worse screens than regular micros, they're only good to do if you have a broken ds lying around and can't be assed to properly fix it.

For me it's always been Gold and my brother played Silver. I actually haven't beaten Crystal so I couldn't tell you but I'm anticipating a big difference. My local game store prices are insane but they sell for $80 so don't pay more than that.

Really? The screens much bigger I would certainly prefer holding a DS or even just GBA with the upgraded screen mod than the micro but I'm not trying to be shitty I'm glad you got yours.

i'm not that other anon you were talking with. the screen is worse for gba games for the same reason ds games are worse on a 3ds screen, resolution scaling and pixel spacing.

In case anyone is interested this is my Yugioh game collection.

As far as Gameboy games go this is every single one including Japanese exclusives, multiple versions, double packs. Currently working on the DS games.
