That's also ignoring how you literally teleport from the 7th to the 8th after the 7th had no puzzle other than turning the whole town into one generic hallway.
I'm convinced the budget completely went out the window after Galar Route 9, they really just made one good route to make you think the game would get good and then gave up

This has been a trend that I've been noticing since gen 6. The second half of the games seems very rushed and incomplete compared to the first half.

Its not budget it was never budget. They have plenty of money, they make enough from the games alone. Its time, making a full scale 3d game is time consuming, GF doesnt have the manpower or skill to do that with how little time theyre given
