>>49095496Instead of being competent they tried to just use the instruments the dppt soundfont was trying to replicate without realizing the original wasn't good because piano= real piano sound, it was because dppt had a unique sound that worked specifically with that soundfont Thats why even within the same gen hgss soundfont makes dppt songs sound bad.
They basically gta remastered collection-ed it. Doesn't matter if the guitar midi they have sounds unfitting, the original giratina theme had guitar in it so theyre just going to apply it with no changes.
And then they fucking turned down the bass so quiet you can't even hear it over the loud midi instruments
Rinse and repeat for every battle theme
