BDSP are the most low-effort remakes we've ever had, and I didn't think this was even possible after how shit ORAS was. PLA also looks like a really shitty grindfest and is confirmed to not be fully open world, it might be fun? But it isn't going to save shit. It's Gen 9 or bust at this point and if they hit as weak as SWSH did Pokemon is just done.

The only good thing to come out of BDSP is the thought that maybe GF will take notice that people still like games without big flashy nuke battle gimmicks. I feel like gen 5 remakes will be the last gimmick-free games we get

I'm talking about how the only way to actually "complete" PLA is to fill the fucking Pokedex and to do that you need to catch a single species of Pokemon MULTIPLE TIMES under MULTIPLE SCENARIOS. I want level grinding, what I don't want is to spend three hours catching fucking Bidoofs over and over.
