How am I supposed to get invested in a series with zero build-up that's going to be over after a single afternoon of casual binging? Pokemon is largest media franchise in the entire fucking world. If they can afford to prop up the shambling corpse of the Trashnime for nearly three fucking decades they can afford to make a spin-off side Pokemon anime that spans a solid 50 episodes at minimum. It's a god damn travesty how TPCi handles this franchise for anything but merch. The state of the games, TCG, anime, and movies is fucking disgusting.
