I was highly skeptical before the game came out and after my first playthrough of it I mindlessly hated on it because muh Battle Frontier but after finally replaying it recently I realised it's literally just Ruby/Sapphire, minus the battle frontier + fairy type + Gen 6 QoL changes and a few small features sprinkled here and there.

Was it really bad or is it just that the games that followed it got so bad that they make ORAS look good in comparison? I genuinely cannot tell anymore.
