Golfing is such an old rich white guy thing. Kahili could probably pass for the type, but Guzma? Nah, come on. It's weird that he's one of the two.

I love the idea that humiliating the boy she liked was Kahili's autistic way of flirting with Guzma, something like "The man who is worthy of me will be the one who can defeat me" and cheer him on with "If you can't handle this, go hide under Miss Lusamine's skirts" or "The birds belong to the majestic sky, the bugs to crawl under the ground, who do you belong to?"

I also really like art of these two. Between the golf connection and weird other random similarities like the squatting and then typing contrasts, it's just so interesting to imagine. Could they have been contemporaries?

I love when artists draw pokemon behaving like animals, even if they have a humanoid anatomy, they are still organisms with a different perception from the human, in this case an isopod perceives its world more through its sense of smell and taste .
