I hate that I'm autistic about this stuff, especially during the main story where optimal stats would make the game pointlessly easy.

I don't have a lot of experience with battle facilities but I'm pretty sure you don't need to care about any of that besides doing some proper EV training. More importantly, everything can be fixed/maxed if you're autistic enough, even natures and egg moves if you're playing a gen 8 game.

IVs are stats pokemon start with and are 31 in each max
EVs raises certain stats depending on what pokemon your pokemon beats. You cana have 510 EVs and iirc every 4 give 1 point to the stat you trained for.

The 4 evs for 1 point is only for level 100, at level 50 (where most battle institutes are) its like 10 for every point.
