Not to mention that each and every Salamence is a Bagon that finally achieved its hard-sought-after dream of flight. Bagon's throw themselves off fucking cliffs; that's how much they want to fly, and evolving in Shelgon only ends up making them heavier, slower, and even further from their dream. Does that stop them? Fuck no. They keep on battling and growing and persevering until they hit their final stage, spread their wings, and take to the fucking skies. Salamence is not only based, but a fucking INSPIRATION.
