I don't use Tinder particularly often, but I've still seen a surprisingly high amount of women on it that expressed an interest in Pokemon in their bio. But even than, a lot of them that actually do play often won't outright state it, so you might would fare better just aiming for women with a general interest in gaming and/or anime, since if nothing else they would probably be more open to getting into the series.
As for you being ugly, trust me, as long as you can make yourself look somewhat presentable and write a good bio (a blend between descriptive without coming off as desperate) getting matches isn't as difficult as you would expect.
