played through the main story once, never touched it again. the underground lets you get pokemon that were in the wild in Platinum, which is nice, but it would have been nicer if they were simply in the wild like they were in Platinum, and then added national dex pokemon to the underground before beating the game instead. Getting spiritomb before the elite 4 is an even bigger pain in the ass than talking to the same friend over and over like you could in DPPt with 32 randomly spawning NPCs that have to be uniquely encountered. Rotom and Eevee and other pokemon that were easily obtainable in Platinum are reverted to being postgame like in the originals. It's sad that even when GameFreak isn't holding the reigns pokemon games latch onto the policy of one step forward, 5 steps back.
