I’m pretty sure it’s not even physically possible to reduce all the major luck factors to 0 like Paralysis and Critical Hits on 1 team, let alone a practical way to do it.
Additionally, the luck with Critical Hits and Paralysis is far more impactful than damage rolls or shotgun spread.
With damage rolls, you can at least say “maybe I shouldn’t have stayed in on the opposing Pokemon since their max damage roll can ko my important Pokemon”, while “maybe I should have randomly sacked my Pokemon to absorb this move that’s suddenly 1.5x as powerful” or “maybe I should have used this small pool of terrible Pokemon with an ability that only blocks crits and nothing else on my team” sounds stupid.
