Also, gen 5 sprites took up less of the screen than gen 4 ones and so they looked fine. Does anyone spack out when watching a movie and seeing the character get zoomed out on and this technically losing total pixels?

I assume they mean native resolution. When emulating handhelds you pretty much need to increase the screen size unless you want to be squinting at your monitor the whole time, and doing that makes games look bad.

While most /vp/ UnocaSlander screenshots were taken from emulators and, yes, blown up to a non-natiuve resolution (which ruins the sprites), that is not the only problem. Even in native resolution, the type of screen changes everything, and the DS looked the best. Even the 3DS ruined it somewhat.
