Shiny hunting is the single most retarded part of this fanbase so I don't mind shinies becoming more common. Two thirds of the time the shiny forms of Pokemon are barely different or are incredibly ugly so I don't understand the point in people going apeshit over seeking them out.

Make them more common but add more variants. Finding an off-color Pokemon should be easier, but in turn that makes finding the color you want harder. Right now if I want a red Clauncher I could get one in 10-50 minutes without injecting. But if I had to sort through every color of the spectrum to get the right red, it'd be a lot rarer.

They've gone on the record saying that the Pokemon Ash saw episode 1 hadn't existed yet and wasn't even one of the beta designs from gen 1. It was the design basis for Ho-Oh.

This. Shiny Pokémon are usually butt ugly. With that said, there are some shiny look substantially better, but since those are the exception, there’s really no reason to fawn over shinies like their the best thing since sliced bread
