Nintendo needs get on board with the future already and implement NFT integration in pokémon. There are a million different benefits, but off the top of my head it would finally be a way to prove shiny authenticity. As of right now shiny pokémon are basically worthless because there are so many hacked illegitimate ones circulating. But if each shiny was minted upon generation there would finally be a provable method to show that your shinies were authentic. It would also serve as a filter for hacked mons in competitions and online battles
