nah, it somhow flop harder than bw despite being set in kanto. Bdsp is what saved the franchise.

I think LGPE actually did a lot, despite being smaller in scale, like you said.

I also think LGPE is the proof that Game Freak is better at smaller projects. The bigger the project, the more half-assed it ends up being. The smaller it is, the more dedication and love goes into it.
