This is why I hate the wild area. The idea is nice, and some pokemon locations make sense, but most feel like they were just haphazardly slapped around wherever.

Yep. It needs more attention to detail and placement other than Pokémon randomly appearing in the open. Making the wild areas smaller with more focus would be the best choice.

reminder that the dexcut was never about strengthening the games or whatever bullshit they claim, it's just cutting corners to squeeze more money out of fans. want your favorites? buy the DLC! or if they're not in that, buy the next set of games and hope they're in it!

they cut TONS of content and yet they're still reusing assets from over 20 years ago. gen 9 will be the same.

The pokedex entries are usually talking about fully feral Pokemon. The Pokemon who appear to humans in tall grass typically aren’t feral, they’re self-domesticated Pokemon who are trying to enter the human world by getting caught.

I always thought the fossils we got were incomplete versions of the original creatures hence why they are all rock type and the originals were a bit different like regional forms.
