For me its:

Enjoy the game as much as you want, but I genuinely believe it is the worst game to have come out, even when compared to SWSH.

Definitely the worst remake, since despite my disdain for ORAS, there's an argument to be made for its amount of new content.

All I ask for remakes is that they don't fuck up the original, and add some new things with real substance. BDSP fails on both of these.

it's easy, it's ugly (both on an art style level and in terms of graphical prowess vs other games on the machine), it doesn't have the story changes from Platinum (which really fixed D/P's story to make more sense), and you don't even get to bring in newer Pokemon in like in OR/AS (which still sucks, but it's one of the things OR/AS did right)

it's not some kind of unplayable trainwreck -- it's literally just the same game you'd have played in 2007 but easier and in 3D, which means it'll sell gangbusters
but the only good thing I really have to say about it is that it doesn't feel nearly as slow as original D/P did

Way better story, several areas redesigned from DP to look nicer, better level curve and gym order, battle frontier...
There was literally no reason not to do a Platinum remake with a slight alteration the distortion world segment so you catch the box legend there instead of Giratina

Lazy remake, i played it till the third gym and stopped because it is just D/P but with an ugly art style and the same 3D models that we have since X/Y. Also the game feel amateurish and i don't even like Sinnoh that much.

Compared to last gens remakes, ORAS, which actually tried to innovate and make a new experience on top of a familiar setting.

Even FRLG added sevi islands. This one didnt even let you get access to ALL online features and we STILL dont have access to them. This is a full priced game by the way. Too many patches to. They're patching up all the OoB and duping shit but not the fucked up shiny rates in chains? Just horseshit. Still, it sold so I expect to see more of it.

I didn't see anyone complain about the character redesigns, reimagined areas, or story additions. The rewrite of the evil teams' motivations to be less retarded and the effort to give the team admins interesting designs and personalities seemed pretty well-received by fans.
