Isn't there an entire movie about it existing in Sinnoh? I haven't watched said movie, please tell me if I'm wrong.
Also, if it can't physically exist in Sinnoh, wouldn't that mean it fucking dies, therefore ends up at the ghost form of it that is seen in Hisui?

first off, the ashnime is not and will never be canon.
second, something can’t die if it dosen’t exist. zoroark and all other gen 5-8 mons just never existed in the universe dp,plat and bdsp (aka mainline sinnoh) are set in.

BDSP literally has fairy type and later gen moves. Sinnoh is just incredibly xenophobic and doesn't allow Pokemon from western regions.

The different universes shit applies only to Mega Evolution. There's a universe where Mega Evolution exists (Gen 6 onwards) and one where it doesn't (the games prior to Gen 6). That's it.
