And Minccino was the star of a year of the rat event in Pokemon Go in 2020. Bottom line is that zodiacfaggotry boils down to grasping at straws to prove that animals that aren't on the zodiac actually are. The closest thing you can claim is that Cyndaquil is rodent like, which is why is was even included in that art to begin with, but even so, it goes from porcupine to badger. Its japanese and english name both prove this. Rats do not have quills or long ass snouts. Fennekin is also a fox, meaning that zodiacfaggotry should've died with XY but you insisted that because foxes and dogs are both canids that they were the same thing altogether. That's like saying Braviary and Talonflame are based on the same animal because they're both raptors. Go choke on a turd, zodiacfag, you haven't had any ground to stand on for over 2 decades.

Maybe when the Fire Starters were first being introduced (Charmander and Cyndaquil, namely), GameFreak probably didn't have the Chinese Zodiac theme in mind. But when Torchic and its evolution line were introduced, they saw a connection and ran with it.

Charizard is obviously a dragon, and Blaziken obviously a chicken. Typhlosion, admittedly, is quite a stretch when it comes to rats. mice, and other rodents. Everything else checks out.

Typhlosion isn't a stretch, it's flat out fucking wrong. Badgers and porcupines are not rats and never have been. Fennekin does not check out because foxes aren't dogs and never have been. You are grasping at straws and there is no connection. The indisputable truth of the matter is that Cyndaquil is a porcupine/anteater/echidna hybrid creature with fiery quills and not a rat, and Fennekin is a fennec fox and not a dog. There is no "Game Freak saw a connection with Blaziken" it's Game Freak designed individual fire creatures with their own seperate inspirations and didn't put the dumb constraint on themselves to fit it within the chinese zodiac. You probably also believed in 2014 that Sinnoh remakes were coming in 2019 too. Zodiacshitters and their patternfaggotry, I swear. Name me one interview, one piece of evidence that says they're definitely following the zodiac despite a quarter of the fire starters being completely unrelated lmao. Fucking retards.
