I love Crabominable. Its design is a fun big ugly monster and it can easily carry a team with the earlier evo in USUM.

I used him in Ultra Moon. The only downside is that Crabrawler doesn't evolve till you reach Mt. Lanakila at the tail end of the game.

i hate gf as much as the next guy, but some of you guys are just insatiable. she's adorable and looks like a jim henson character. if nothin else, at least be grateful she kept the best part of the preevo: her face.

There's room for improvement, for sure, but it gets a weird amount of backlash.
Quilladin is still a huge, dorky egg that I don't care much for, but I respect it for the audacity to not strain itself and be instantly marketable.

I always found Chesnaught to be one of the least offensive “anthropomorphic” starters. I think his proportions are different enough to make him still feel more animal-like.

In USUM you can evolve Crabrawler in the area right before the Ghost trial, at the bottom of the elevator. It changed to give earlier access than SM.

This Pokemon doesn't deserve any hatred, it is like one of the best water starter and the last good one we ever got. Much better than overrated Empoleon.
