They Can't Touch Ghost Types,
Most Water Types would have a huge advantage (with a large enough body of water)
Pokemon Have Healers.
All you'd need to do is send the flying types over the battle field and have them use ranged moves, Hyper Beam, Dragon Breath, Flame Thrower, Ice Beam. They don't need to kill each Lion, a single hit would be enough to fatally injure, have the more defensive Pokemon form a wall to protect the rest of the mons while a few head out into the battle field to finish off the weakened Lions.
