For Bellossom and Lilligant though I imagine it's much more literally a dance, Bellossom is very clearly designed at least partially after Polynesian Dance culture and while Lilligant doesn't appear to have any direct dance elements to its design it is a humanoid Pokemon with a cute-elegant design which fits with most of the Pokemon capable of learning the move, if I hazard a guess Bellossom and Lilligant substitute the shedded scales for pollen released from their flowers.
Also with regards to Thick Fat, I mean Tropius is a big plant dinosaur thing, Mega Venusaur, another plant dinosaur got Thick Fat as well and in a non-mega case the same extends to Appletun, Tropius is definitely one of the more bulky looking Grass-Types out there and unlike some Grass-Types appears more like an animal with plant-like features rather than a plant with animalistic features
