Good afternoon my fellow poképosters!
In my time in this community I’ve really been enjoying myself, but I think there are several improvements that could be made to produce a more friendly, social space for the forum.
The purpose of this thread is to propose ideas to make ‘4chan/vp’ a more healthy, constructive and fun place!
Feel free to give your ideas or feedback on others :)
I’ll start!
1. We elect ‘Community Leaders’ to represent us on the forum (I’m willing to be the first, to get the ball rolling and assist with elections). If elected a Community Leader, you will be able to have significant influence over the content of posts and also be able to choose your own ‘green text’ colour, to reward your hard work.
2. A ‘shun’ button on every post - I’m sure you’re all aware of the numerous paedophiles, bestophiles and footphiles who constantly make extremely low quality threads which have very low potential for fun and actual discussion. If ten ‘Community Leaders’ vote to shun a paedo (for example), they can’t post until the next calendar year. This would significantly improve the friendliness and positivity of the forum.
3. Integrated social connectivity (I’ll call it ‘ISC’). ISC would enable us to link our other social media profiles to help us find real friendships more easily and hold each other accountable for things we do.
What are your ideas? Or alternatively do you have any feedback for mine? I take criticism well so feel free :)
