A Geodude, a Larvitar, and an Onix for you to one shot do not make the fight difficult. They are 4x weak to water, and Onix is the only fast one. One Lileep with curse is more challenging than all of those put together. A lot of the time half the 6 Pokemon are filler mons, a quota so the hacker could stick to the 6 Pokemon meme. Leave that to the later gyms.
