Not going to argue there, I hate Sinnoh, I nothing Kalos, and I didn't even pirate Galar. Kinda sucks we won't get a good remake that actually fixes the problems.

Yeah, a lot of the jank does suck, but so does most of the jank in DP and only clipping out of bounds is fun in that game. Gen 1 has that, weird glitch Pokemon, the ability to catch any Pokemon with some setup, and Arbitrary Code Execution, just to name some of the big ones. But yeah, Gen 1 also has moves that don't work, several softlocks that can be set up but unless you're specifically grinding only Ditto on one trainer (or a few, there's a lot of overlap between random trainers) near where you find it most of them are not easy to get into. DP's jank is the unfun stuff like being slow for the most part. Basically, the more technically worse the game is the worse my opinion is. I might consider BDSP to be better of the bullshit about ACE using boxed Pokemon names was true, and somebody really should be looking into the busted calculator that shit might be able to do wonders or at least crash the game.
