You play as a customizable trainer that has the choice of three random pokemon to choose from at the start of a match, usually consisting of route 1 rodents, with a small chance of getting a route 1 bird pokemon. The battle system is turn based (because I can't think of a good battle system atm)

Once you and everyone else has picked a pokemon, you are then flown over the map (which is based off Kanto) via a flock of Pelliper, with Wingull acting as your parachutes to safely land on the ground, to which they then fly off. The "storm" equivalent of this game is uncatchable ultra beasts coming from wormholes outside the circle that are too powerful to beat over and over again.
