starting off as a rookie mon is stupid, theyre supposed to be stages of development, no person is born 8 years old. babymons also have the largest selection of evolution trees they branch into so they also serve as a convergence point to get other evolution lines

but the official digimon card game and videogames from bandai themselves seems to agree with the dub titles? if they really wanted to why couldnt they just change it to the oh so canon japanese titles? not to mention the jp titles are stupid, wtf is fresh 1 and fresh 2

cope, all english digimon media will use these titles as the official ones and seeing as youre likely not japanese, dont know japanese and we are not speaking on a japanese forum, theres no reason to use the inferior japanese titles

im a fakedigifan says the one who believes baby and intraining stages shouldnt exist, im well aware of why the stages are labelled the way they are and even on digi forums i use the dub titles and will insist on using them bc they sound better

why is ultimate stage called perfect? implying theres no stage beyond that, and then calling mega ultimate implies that mega stages are just a powerup similar to BMs and not their genuine final stages. the dub progression implies a gradual increase in power that finally ends at mega. the only one ill give you is jogress bc dna digivolution doesnt make sense and fusion was ruined with xros

I don't think they ever will. Meloetta and Gothielle are the closest they've gotten and those two look more like muppets than human beings. I suspect they also gave gothielle little Itty bitty legs because of that too.

the AI basically decided that dark colours and sharp angles were the main features of digimon, which is why most designs here have black, dark blue/purple, angular features or a spiky silhouette (i.e. Stunky's tail)

Probably has to do with the sharp angles on the tail, tuft and antlers then. They're not extremely spiky, but i could see an ai picking up on it.
