There is nothing about Platinum that makes it as good as Crystal, Emerald, BW2, etc

But by the time your larvesta evolves you've probably already caught the volcarona and Volcarona isn't even a pseudo legendary. If it's going to evolve that late it should at least have a 600 BST

Bisharp isn't that great and has a lower BST than a lot of pokemon that evolve much earlier, same with Volcarona. Hydreigon is also not that amazing in comparison to Dragonite and Garchomp which both evolve at a much lower level than Hydreigon

It's not an issue of the exp share.
BW was painfully linear so by the time those mons appeared, their evo levels made you use them for 10-15 levels, which was pretty fine, same with braviary and the like, barring larvesta obviously.
They should have had their levels reworked because they are fucking retarded in other games.

I agree. Platinum has no "selling" points to it to compete with other games. It's literally just the "sell solution" version of DP. There's zero innovation to be seen and everything in it outside of animated sprites are so,ething from an older game already. Shilloh fanboys will deny and derail this but it's objectively true.

He's referring to animated backsprites I think. Those were introduced in Platinum. Crystal had animated front sprites only just like Emerald.

When Platinum came out it did have a Battle Frontier of it's own. But HGSS kind of took that and put it in a game that's even more jam packed with things to do so the only benefit is if you really want to do the BF after beating exactly Sinnoh. If people can say XY was good for the online when ORAS is better at that in every way, I'm willing to give Platinum a little slack even if I fucking hate it. Platinum might still be the best way to play Sinnoh, if you want to do that for some reason. I mean that's technically true of Emerald as well, but ORAS has a number of unique postgame things to do that make it the best Gen 6 game instead of the best Hoenn. Am I making any sense?

Sinnoh is an inherently bad region and the only thing worth talking about from said region is Dawn and Cynthia, otherwise it can all go in the trash. HGSS saved Gen 4 and if you removed it it'd be even worse than Gen 8.
