>>49163431The level curve is only bad if you get late game teammates, and if you aren't spreading EXP from trainers properly, as a kid I could beat everyone with an over leveled starter, as an adult I noticed if I spent too much time on one mon they would gain levels, but the rest of your team will be hurt heavily due to wild pokemon being pretty bad for grinding, due to being so weak this really hurts getting newer teammates because they are those weak pokemon, trainers will out level them and switching just doesn't work as well and they sap exp from someone else, making them leaches so it's best to get everything you want earlier in the game because they can catch up quickly.
I noticed it, but it's not a major issue and the only thing that needs to be fixed is just better ways to grind, something like the VS Seeker or buffed Wild encounters.
I find it odd that people will act as if you got from level 20 to level 50 pokemon, the curve isn't that bad.
