1st Unbound gym at max difficulty:
>Only 4 Pokemon while the player will easily have 6
>Piss poor coverage, gets destroyed by fire and poison spam
>Field effect (Fog that lowers accuracy) hurts the gym leader even more than it hurts the player, since the former lacks unmissable moves or keen eye to get around it. Making the fight even easier
>Uses a *Weedle* at level 17
>3/4 of Comfey's moves are useless because Gloom will already be dead and Weedle does no damage and gets instakilled even with support
>AI can't switch in Comfey to benefit from Gloom because it gets demolished by the same things that demolish Floette
1st Radical Red gym at max difficulty:
>6 Pokemon like the player
>Practically flawless offensive and defensive coverage for that point of the game
>Field effect clearly benefits the gym leader, putting you at a disadvantage
>Has a bulky stealth rock lead, a mixed wall, bulky special attacker, eviolite and fast physical setup sweeper, revenge killing, wallbreaking and pivots for several types for safe switch-ins. Requires a similarly well thought out team to beat
How are they even remotely comparable? Radical Red is demonstrably far superior if you're looking for a challenging campaign
>inb4 filtered contrarians mindlessly shitting on Radical Red
