Anon, gen 5 is a very divisive game, if you don't add pikachu you piss off one side that don't want gen 5 pokemon only but if you add him it will piss off another side that wants only the original 151 unovan pokemon during the main game
It's a lose-lose situation no matter what

Doesn't matter. Whatever GF does, you will buy it anyway.

Realistically speaking though, they'll probably make the Entralink into a Hyper-Entralink or something (like they did with the Underground in BDSP) and allow you to catch Gen 1-4 Mons.

I never played BW2 because the first ones didn’t seem like they needed a sequel.

I hope they never do sequels or third versions again and instead actually just make good first versions and patch if they really need to.

Then again, it’s more realistic to hope for Pokémon to be real.
