- More challenging, strategic bosses than official games
- Buff more shitmons than official games
- Innovative mechanics and campaigns
- Normal trainers that aren't fodder
- Most fakemon are much better designed than gen 8 trash, some are even good enough to fit in with the good official designs. But most hacks don't have fakemon, incase you don't like them
- Most ROM Hacks have gorgeous pixel art, nu-gens look like shit
