>>49181980>You can't force a field effect that gives the opponent a massive advantageIt's called Insane for a reason buddy
>and also take away the player's ability to deal with it accordinglyThere are still ways to deal with it accordingly, but using Sunny Day/Drought would just be the most braindead way to deal with a rain boss so of course the fight doesn't allow it
>literally the definition of artificial difficulty. No it isn't, that would be something with no counterplay like RNG effect spam or overleveled opponents, this isn't artificial difficulty, just difficulty, a tactical advantage for the boss. Just because there's no easy way to beat it doesn't mean it's unfair, it's literally the max difficulty setting. There's still options to minimize the boss's advantage like bringing your own swift swimmers, bringing a dedicated counter to the mon that you struggle most with, using tailwind, etc.
>>49182011Doesn't Radical Red have permanent field effects that give the boss an advantage too? Never played it before, but just from that picture
>>49182008 i can already tell their version of Brock has permanent sandstorm and Sand Rush + Sand Force users. How is that any different?
