You were right to not want things to go further, I had to deal with the same type in the head multiple times : the worst was a 2 years relationship with an extremely gorgeous woman. Having to hear someone beautiful bitching about how ugly she is, being suicidal because of it, scarring herself and shit like that, it's just the worst. You can't repair them either, nothing you do or say changes anything since it's a self-confidence issue, and you will just suffer along the ride. Unless it is your only concern, sex doesn't make things better either. Worst is, this type tend to want to cheat to feel better about themselves since that short term attractiveness they feel when a new guy wants them can fill the void inside just enough to deal with another day of self-doubt and self-abuse.
Anyone should go for someone with balanced physique and behavior, anything too special will always bring issues, unless of course you don't care about searching new rides from time to time and are just here to enjoy it while it last. You won't like big boobs or butts as much when you have to deal with every little issues it can come with.
