Can we just agree that Pokemon games' dogshit graphic is not GF fault but Nintendo's dogshit hardwares fault? How does anyone develope a game with kino graphic on a Tegra X1 though?

Nah. Game was made for the WiiU too and the Switch is much more powerful.

Other games on the same platform look far better, that's not a good argument. GF's autistically bad bloat and lack of optimization prevents having "quality graphics" without frame dips.

I don't think that's the issue. Nintendo's hardware isn't the best but game freaks development abilities are even worse. They still operate like a small independent studio, with the difference being that they get injected with tons of money from TPC and Nintendo. And instead of using that money to buy a bigger team or improve development...

The only story you need to hear is the one about how Iwata had to save gold and silver because the development team had fucked up development so bad. I don't think anything has changed since then

Bigger team =! Better games.
That's the actual problem of GF - they are too bloated with money from TPC. If they would scale down, cut off all the unnecessary spending and people and give themselves proper amount of time for development they could be able to do something coherent.
There's a reason why indie and small developers are making better, more fun games than big companies - more money and more people means more messy development.

They arent the best but keep in mind, zelda had a 5+ year dev cycle and tons of people working on it, pokemon games usually have 2 or 3 with like 60 people

But at the same time without the money they may not be able to do all the things they want to do with the games. I think the problem is more about motivation. They are working under the gun constantly the pump out these games as fast as possible and you can kind of tell their heart isn't in it anymore. That's totally conjecture, but they didn't think the switch was going to succeed, any game that isn't a mainline game seems to be somewhat cynical in that it focuses on just the most marketable shit possible, and they are making these decisions that are certainly not in the interests of modernizing and updating what Pokemon is. It's all minimum effort, lowest common denominator type shit that they rationalize by saying oh well these games are made for kids or nobody has time to play a big RPG anymore or you don't understand how hard it is to develop these games. All of that is complete and utter bullshit, but they are not going to change their attitude or the quality of these games until they see negative return on investment which isn't happening anytime soon
