ITT let's hate on the worst, most boring type.
No type, not even normal, is as boring and uninspired as Psychic. They made it just because they wanted to do the Uri Geller reference and then had no other inspiration and just slapped it onto a bunch of random mons that would be better without it. Whenever a new psychic type is revealed I feel bad for the poor Pokémon. Why would anyone want yet another frail special attacker whose moveset consists of Psychic, Shadow Ball, Shock Wave and Grass Knot? Or a another furbait Fairy/Psychic who would be better without the Ghost Weakness? No-one even uses Psychic as coverage since it adds nothing that several other types can't do better. And don't get me started on how the gen 1 Psychics started out the humanoid furbait trend and would be hated if they were released today. They should just retcon this miserable type out of existence.
