GameFreak intentionally set up Legends to fail and sell worse than BDSP to prove they don't need to try in the slightest to make bank despite there being over a literal decade of people wanting Open World Pokemon (which Legends isn't actually, but normalfags wouldn't know that) ever since Skyrim.
