I enjoy Pocket Monsters 2019 too, and there's alot to love about it that's done better than Sun and Moon, but Sun and Moon really had this specific vibe to it with all the characters always around. Family I guess? Ash even kind of got a father. He was basically the practice kid as the series ends with him having his own kid as Ash is leaving. The episode with him getting married was unlike anything I've seen in the Pokemon anime before that, and I think Sun and Moon was full of that. It was just refreshing?
