>>49190294Emerald is much harder, doesn't hand you a Lati@s after the fifth gym, has more trainers, rematchable gym leaders, berry blending minigame, original Mauville rather than Mallville, ungimped routes, Mirage Tower, Desert Underpass, and most importantly the BATTLE FRONTIER. That's not to say that there aren't reasons to play ORAS like being able to use Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos Pokemon in Hoenn, the PSS, physical-special split, day-night cycle, DexNav, soaring, mirage spots, better secret bases, etc. but Emerald is still overall a better game. That said, ORAS is not completely superceded by Emerald in the same way that BDSP is superceded by Platinum.
