What are the resistances and what is it good against? What would sound be weak to?
What moves get retyped? Is it literally every move soundproof effects? Should Howl and Growl be sound based when they're not the sound itself effecting you but the implication of aggression the pokemon is making?
I think sound, along with space, got fucked by fairy as a type. The chance to introduce them was XY and fairly ate both their lunches (especially the space type) so at this point it's not possible.
