Hisuian Sneasel with the Poison/Fighting type + evo is a odd choice that doesn't make a lot of sense. But maybe the concept will be good.

My guess is it's based off poison traps the ainu people would use for hunting. I bet it'll have some part of it's body to use as a lure for prey (my guess is it's feather) and then inject its target with poison.

Aren't these typings for Qwil and Lilligant nothing to do with Khu. I recall some literally who just added those types and it somehow became the image that was spammed here. Khu never said the typings

I don't even see why it needs to be a new form. Like sure Basculegion is closer to red with its colouring but it has the side fins of blue form and the eyes of red. It already serves as a fusion which the Basculin form will do

This right here is the most important thing for me.
I love Goomy and Sliggoo. A dragon slug/snail is an awesome concept. Goodra is a fucking abomination made to appeal to Pokéfuckers and furries. Dragon/Steel is also my favourite typing and I have literally been waiting forever to finally have a good Pokémon with this typing. If they fuck this up I will burn down the GF headquarters.

I look forward to seeing Dragon/Steel Goodra, but after realizing that regional forms don't drastically redesign existing Pokemon I'm a little bummed that what we're gonna get is the same dopey Dragonite 2.0 design but with a metallic shell.

When you say "types" do you mean the type they initially are, or the type their regional variant became?

If you mean the type they become, then I'm not sure how bug would work. Most other types are an element, or at least comparable to one in some fashion, where as bug type is just literally saying it's a bug, so I'm not sure how a non bug type pokemon could become a bug.

I suppose one method could be a grass type that has some sort of reverse Paras situation in that some sort of insect takes over the plant?

Now that I think about it, I suppose they could pull a reversal and have a regional become a bug type with the excuse of "this form is it's original form and it lost it's bug typing in other regions".

I could definitely see that with the Trapinch line, and maybe the Goomy line if we weren't getting a regional form in PLA (granted, Meowth has had 2 regional forms so far so I guess it wouldn't be too out there for Goomy's line to get another).

Hisuian forms are my favorite batch so far. GF excels at Japan-inspired designs.

Most looking forward to the new Qwilfish, Sneasel, and Goodra lines.

Qwilfish needed some love and an aquatic Dark/Poison-type will basically give it no weakness. A new evolution would be dope.

Sneasel has always been one of my favorite Johto mons and I never cared for Weavile, so I’m excited at the prospect of a branch evolution.

I love Goomy and Sliggoo, but they really dropped the ball with Goodra. It has that silly, dumb face like Dragonite. It deserves redemption.
