also I've never spent money on the game and u don't need 2. play for about a week or two, at a casual pace and the game gives u free "item enhancers" to max out 3 held item's which is the most any character can have at a time. Boom u are now equal to any whale

yea that's my problem with Go, it was really fun catching pokemon for a week or so and then I ran out of initial items and restocking was slow and tedious and there wasn't much of a game after that

It's a MOBA with pay to win elements. The whole "grind entire days for coins so you can get better stats/items, or just dump money in the game so you can do so" is why I stopped playing shortly after it released.

Collecting is my favorite aspect of the franchise, so GO is by far the one that appeals to me the most.
But I have to admit that in terms of gameplay Unite is probably better. It's just not my thing.
Masters is both unappealing and has bad gameplay so it's definitely the worst.

I have unite a bit above go, go is super fun whenever there's an event with goals, challenges and exclusive pokemon to collect, otherwise its kinda dry and boring, Unite is always fun just to fuck around for a few matches and call it a day, just get your fill, and pokemon masters is super grindy and annoying, and the gacha is so intense that i really feel more stressed about getting the coins to roll for that one character you want and end up not getting it than enjoying the game and thats super bad

I don't have many IRL friends and barely talk even to the ones that do play go, you don't need friends, you just need pokeraids or a similar app.
MAYBE for the rare quests that involve trades but you can make do with a second account and a borrowed phone like I do.
And if you're fat its all the better.

Unite is much better than the Mainline games online/competitive scene since they are centered around stall. Masters is probably the best but has the least interaction online and it is gache farming/pay income. Tired of gache games (FGO/Granblue). GO started it all but did not age well sadly. Plus Unite gave normal type fags love with what they did to Greedent and how it still causes players to seethe/rage quit.
