Nobody around here buys games day1 at Target though, it's clearly a suburban mom store, so I just go there. GameStop, Walmart, Bestbuy, probably sold out day 1, half the next shipment is probably reserved too and the rest will sell out quick, unless it's something super niche like NEOTWEWY, but also if it's that niche sometimes they only order exactly as many as were preordered any, with like 2 max coming in 3 months. Target though? Eight fuckin copies day 1 but it'll last them a year, and sometimes they even give you a rebate or some shit, I got a 50 dollar gift card bonus when I bought the Mario kart Wii pack
So I never preorder. I wait til reviews are out so I don't get scammed and if it's as good as advertised snipe it up and untouched mom stores day 3 like I have my own private gaming department.
Though the guys at my Walmart are also too lazy to price things right, they've been selling switch games at 3DS prices the entire time. So if I don't need a game the month it comes out I will admit I still go there just for the "discount"
