>>49211156Now that you mention it, I find it pretty funny that Jessie and James have spent the better part of twenty years (or I guess slightly less than one year, in perpetuity) trying to catch this fucking Pikachu, when Giovanni has, to my recollection, never given any indication that he particularly wants it.
I remember them justifying it by saying that Ash's Pikachu got supercharged in that one really early episode at the Pokemon Center, but given that it was basically never mentioned again, it seems like they dropped the idea of it having been permanently amped up.
