No, it's not that. Retards here, and in the wider Pokémon community in general, don't realise that Gen introduced =/= native Region.

GSC already touched on this with Houndour being only obtainable in the wild in Kanto despite being introduced in Gen 2, and Gen 1 Safari Zone Pokémon such as Scyther and Tauros being found in the wild in Johto.

In fact, we already know Zorua isn't a Unova Pokémon because it can't be found in the wild in Unova. However, from what we've seen, Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark are native to Hisui/Sinnoh, therefore, Zorua is a Sinnoh Pokémon, and H-Zorua is the original Zorua.

Every region is disconnected as in they're separated by an ocean, with the obvious exception of kanto/johto.

But the game certainly doesn't treat unova as being completely foreign to every other region.
That's why they named a bridge in unova after a mon that's not even native to unova, why cynthia shows up, why a pikachu balloon shows up in Nacrene, why a dragonite fossil shows up in the museum, etc.

The first four regions aren't separated by the ocean you dumbfuck. That's what made Unova different and the whole fucking point of Driftveil City existing to export goods from foreign areas over the sea.

It's perfect on Dolphin. All the motion control shit can be bound to buttons no problem, but there's a couple points where you need to point at the screen to progress, so be aware of that.

that's arguably pretty accurate to real life as well though. there are plenty of foreign celebrities in america as well as entirely foreign animals that show up in both marketing as well as general landmarks
if you passed by, say, a lion statue, you probably wouldn't even bat an eye.
