Why is having alot of encounter bad? It makes it easier ti find rarer wild Pokémon and gives more opportunities for grinding.
And if it’s such a chore for you use use repels. Does HGSS even have more wild encounters than others games for this “complaint” to make sense?

Doesn't this happen in EVERY Pokemon game with random encounters?
LGPE too since the maps are still designed with the Gameboy in mind so you have no way of getting past all the congested paths full of shitmons you don't want to bother catching.
