I just became champion AMA. It was tougher than I remembered/expected since I was noticeably over leveled until the elite four. Is this the most challenging Elite Four & Champion in the series?

Yea I am trying this idea ever since ultra sun, i played shield first then US, to use only new local pokemon from that region the first two times. Then I will use my mons from past games for fun
