Most genwunners who complained were either autistic 20-something year olds from Facebook clinging to their childhood and rejecting change when they tried to reignite their passion by picking up the hot new titles (BW at the time) and throwing a fit about the things I mentioned. The cherrypicking, the nostalgia goggles, the pure uneducated arguments... It was such a fucking nightmare. You clearly weren't around for it when it was at it's worst.
I myself am too old to be considered a "DSkiddie" since I started with Yellow, but even if they're also shitty, nothing compares to the lack of brain activity from the hipsters of 2010 who couldn't separate the anime from the video games and didn't know jack shit about Pokemon outside of Pokemania. Genwunners today aren't even as retarded as they used to be over a decade ago.
