Still, may be worth a shot. Perhaps you could try to send it to a nearby daycare during the winter? Alternatively you could follow the other anon's recommendation and set up a greenhouse; that'll work.
On another note, I've got my own problems with my Horsea. It recently evolved into a Seadra, and though I'm very happy for it, I get the sensing that the aquarium I have for it is now too lacklustre; it's not too happy it seems. I caught my Horsea when I was living at the coast, but I habe now moved inland, and constantly visiting the sea isn't really an option. Anyone knows what Seadra value most in their habitat and how I can replicate it in an aquarium?
